Exposure weight and age take a natural toll on leaded windows
when they reach 70 to 100 years of age. Sometimes the repair
and restoration is minimal even after this amount of time. At
other times, windows will show bowing, bending, broken solder
joints, loose reinforcing bars and cracked glass and may need
to be completely re-leaded and reinforced.
We especially pride ourselves in our excellent reputation for
our workmanship and expertise in the repair and restoration of
stained glass windows.
TerHaar Stained Glass Studio takes special care in using the
finest materials in preserving the integrity of the original
design, glass, leading, and reinforcing materials. We are also
able to hand-paint and kiln-fire glass to restore the original
design.
